I’m sure the majority of people reading this spend at least some time of their day working in front of a computer screen. Almost all of my day is spent doing this. There are some real advantages to this kind of work. The largest disadvantage is the feeling of the walls closing in from all sides. When the scenery never changes apart from the pictures on a monitor, I can get pretty stir crazy. At this point, I’m inefficient. My mind begins to wander, my body begins to shuffle and what should take me 15 minutes begins to take longer and longer. Notebook accessories are here to the rescue.
A Wi-Fi card, extended battery, anti-glare screen and headphones have all helped me take work outside, away from confining walls. It is amazing what a few hours in the fresh air can do for a person. After getting my fill outdoors, coming back inside to work doesn’t seem so bad at all, especially when it is freezing outside like it is today. Notebook accessories have been just as helpful to me as home theater components during NBA season.
