Well, last night the Suns hosted the Lakers as I’ve said in previous points. The game turned out to be nothing what I expected barring the third quarter of action. LA took an early lead and by half had an iron grip on the desert, leading by 7 points. But that is the Suns’ playing style, teams can either get way ahead of them or way behind them and still it will become close again. In the 3rd, the Suns exploded, silencing the Lakers offense for play after play. They ended up taking a 1-point lead after some serious play on both sides of the court, coming back from a 15-point deficit. My home theater components exploded as the Suns’ head coach headed off the court after ejected. With no coach, the fourth quarter fell apart.

Phoenix did a great job containing Kobe but LA won 102-96. I was actually yelling over my home theater components during the 4th. It is just so hard to watch a team who should make post season, piss away their spot in the Western Conference. I’ve not lost hope yet with more games left but the Suns need to reignite that fire from here on out. I’ll be following their progress with notebook accessories, living in LA.
